Chore day!

Josephine likes to "help" a lot these days. She makes a bee line for the refrigerator anytime we open the door. We've started putting her milk and/or water sippy cup on the bottom shelf so she can get it out herself. She really enjoys that. She is also obsessed with the trash can and the toilet. Instead of forbidding her to touch them we try to let her do so under supervision. It does seem to lessen her interest in them. Now whenever Mommy or Daddy goes potty she gets a square of toilet paper (which she usually wipes her face with) then she gets to toss her square in the toilet and wave bye bye while Mommy or Daddy flushes. She even gets to close the lid. Then she displays a big grin at her achievement:) Speaking of closing things, lately she likes to close her fingers in the cabinet doors (not hard) and then look at us for help with a "shocked" look on her face. She knows how to get them out herself. I'm not really sure why she does it. She's goofy! She's also a big help with laundry. She's very good at dropping clothes in the washing machine and enjoys transferring to the dryer. Enjoy the videos!

30 weeks!

Here is a pic of me at 30 weeks. I'm actually 31 weeks today, so this is obviously last week. I'm feeling pretty good. It's been HOT here. Sleeping at night is getting a little bit harder since Lillian is moving a lot but I've managed to sneak a nap in during the day which helps. I'm due October 2nd and I hope Lillian doesn't arrive early. I'm cherishing every bit of the time I have left with Josephine before little sister makes her debut.

First Haircut

Josephine had her first professional haircut about2 weeks ago. I had tried to trim her bangs because they were always in her eyes and she didn't like to wear a barrette. The mom trim wasn't terrible but Josh thought she looked like she had a mullet so we decided to get a real cut. Here are some before and after photos and a short video.
