We've been going through some more big changes around here. A few weeks ago we decided to leave Mr. Paci in his crib because he needs lots of sleep. So Josephine only gets to see him when she's sleeping too. Not surprisingly she willingly tosses him back in the crib after she wakes up. Why do parents always have to complicate things?

Josephine the scribbler. She's been trying a lot of new things lately. She enjoys "coloring" from time to time. She has also been working on her climbing, jumping, balancing, oh and don't forget falling:) I've also started to notice what sounds like some words (to me anyway) besides Mama, Dada, and Hi. She's also recently become more willing to mimick sounds we make.

We got this floor potty to have one around while we waited for the Potty Pod by Prince Lionheart to arrive from our favorite online shopping spot diapers.com. However, she wouldn't pee in it. She preferred to keep closing the lid and using it as a step stool (which is one if its 3 in 1 functions, just not the one we purchased it for). So I was glad the Potty Pod arrived on Saturday and she uses it frequently. We even brought it along on our lunch date today and kept it in the back of the van. Good thing too because during lunch she gave me the signal so we rushed out to the van and she peed in the potty! Of course she just had to give me the signal a few more times after that so of course I had to take her back to the potty but I guess that just goes with the territory. We're really proud of our BIG GIRL!
And last but certainly not least......Josephine is wearing big girl panties now! We started potty training this past Friday and she has been doing great! Hats off to Daddy for bearing the brunt of the potty training efforts over the weekend! We couldn't have done it without you! She has gotten better each day and so far today no accidents! We even ventured out of the house for lunch with friends. She's still wearing a pullups during naps and at bedtime for now.
