Lillian's 9 and 10 month stats

A little behind....let's just call this the 9 and 10 month stats! Lillian will be 10 months old on July 24! She is about 19 pounds now (was 18lbs 6oz at her 9 mos checkup) and around 27 1/2 inches tall! Wearing size 12 mos but can still squeeze into a few 9 mos things.
She is no longer content to observe from the sidelines. Not that she ever was...but she's really learned how to move! She's crawling, pulling up to standing, and starting to coast around things.
She is the HAPPIEST baby I know! She is so easygoing and is very independent.
She's eating everything. Loves to feed herself and aside from the standard puffs, cheerios, yogurt melts, and usual baby finger food fare she is pretty much eating table food which makes my life easy!
She has 6 teeth now. She's had the 2 bottom middle for a few months. She just finished cutting the 4 top middle teeth all at once!
She's taking one 3 hour nap pretty consistently for the past month or more. It was mid dayish but the past week and a half she's been able to hold off until about 1 pm. Works great since both girls go down at the same time.
She's sleeping around 12-13 hours at night. She goes to bed between 7:30 and 8 and usually wakes up between 7:30 and 8:30. While those teeth were cutting she was waking several times at night. Now she's back to waking just once or occasionally twice...thank goodness!!
She still loves to look at/read books. She loves to be chased. She has started getting her own toys out in the play area. Loves the opening number to Dora the Explorer. Loves to play peek a boo.
She is a very sweet, very loved little girl.

Sisters

Just two sisters hangin' out! Now that Lillian is really getting around these two can usually be found pretty close together.

Playing with Daddy

Picket Fence Creamery

We went to a local dairy farm here with our Mom's group. Josephine really liked being so close to the cows. We got a tour of the dairy farm and learned about how they care for the cows. The dairy farm was about an hour away. I sure wish they were closer because their chocolate milk was delicious!! We were all given free samples of the chocolate milk and their home made vanilla ice cream! Yummy!!!

These calves spend a few weeks in these pens before they go to the owner's other farm to grow up!
