21 and 1/2 months old. I meant to do this post right after I did Josephine's but life got busy so here we are! Let me start by saying Lillian has the sweetest personality. But not only does she look like her Daddy she is STUBBORN like her Daddy!! You might never guess that from those big blue eyes, sweet little voice, and tender hugs. I'm truly amazed how she can be so stubborn and yet so tenderhearted at the same time. She is so independent and confident yet at the same time can be very dependent on me. I guess the difficult part is that it is always on her terms. That reminds me of someone else I know...lol. When she doesn't want my attention I better steer clear and when she does want it nothing else will do! She is going to be a woman who knows (and probably gets) what she wants. But for now she is my sweet Lily Pie.
Every little girl looks up to her big sister and Lillian is no different! Josephine and Lillian have a lot of fun together. The girls are finally at an age where they can play together without needing constant supervision. They love to chase each other, color together, and make up all kinds of silly games. Lillian also likes to do puzzles--like the chunky animal puzzles or other non-interlocking puzzles. She loves to sing songs with coordinating hand movements. Some of her current favorites are Itsy Bitsy Spider and Mr. Golden Sun. She loves jumping in our bouncy house. And Lillian loves watching TV (also like her Daddy!). She loves Barney and has also been enjoying Super Why lately. But with her new found playmate TV time is getting shorter and shorter.
Lillian has been getting more and more verbal which is wonderful. I've lost count of the one syllable words she is using. She is saying lots of two syllable words like popcorn, Daddy, hello, cracker, thank you. She will try to repeat most words if asked. Of course there are a lot of words that still seem to be lost in translation but we'll take what we can get!
I think she gets the cute tooshy from Daddy too;)
